Henna for hair

To begin with, of course, you should understand how henna is generally made and where it appeared. This dye looks like a simple powder, and get it from the dried leaves of Lawson. This shrub grows in countries with a tropical climate, there are indeed very many such plants there, therefore, henna was originally used in tropical countries. In addition to henna, essential oil is also obtained from lonsonia, an industrial dye.

The most intense in coloring actions are considered the leaves of this plant. Young people go to the production of paint used in temporary tattoo, for dyeing fabrics. Of the rest, a means intended for the hair itself is produced.

The peculiarity of this natural powder lies in the fact that with each its application the effect becomes more intense.

The benefits and harm of henna for hair

Of course, henna brings a lot of use of hair, but there are at this means and negative sides. The advantages and disadvantages of this dye should be considered in more detail.

The obvious advantages include the naturalness of the product, which does not contain any chemical elements, from which henna for hair is considered completely safe. Besides the fact that it gives the hair an incredibly beautiful color, henna is able to nourish it, unlike the color that is familiar to everyone, which often dries hair to such a state that it is necessary to actively restore it for a long time.

Henna has a positive effect not only on the curls, but also on the scalp itself. Special tanning agents contained in it are capable of regulating the activity of the sebaceous glands. Therefore, such a tool is recommended to use for girls who suffer from the fact that their hair quickly becomes oily.

Thanks to its safety, henna is suitable even for pregnant women, who are usually afraid of staining with ordinary ammonia paint.

Henna for hair is ideal for women of any age, and this is already an obvious big plus. Due to the fact that when dyeing hair scales smoothed, the hair looks more shiny and smooth.

The disadvantages of this tool also can not be ignored. First of all, be careful you need to be the girls whose hair has already been dyed, as no one accurately predicts the exact color and behavior of the composition, when henna is used after non-natural chemical paints.
Unfortunately, this natural composition is not able to paint over gray hair, which is unlikely to suit women in age.

It often happens that the girls who used henna, the usual ammonia hair dye, then simply, as they say, is not taken, and sometimes even gives a green tint.

Henna helps straighten curls, so that it is not recommended for those who have a perm.

Colorless henna

This henna for hair, as its name implies, has no shade, that is, it will not work to dye her hair, but to use it for their treatment and improvement is just the way. In addition to the beneficial effects on the curls such a natural composition can be used in cosmetology, for example, for tattoos.

To get henna without color, dried stems of Lawsonia are used. Knowledgeable people say that colorless henna can help in solving almost any problem related to hair, so it will definitely not be superfluous in the house. And it will be absolutely indispensable for women, whose hair has lost its shine, beautiful color, healthy look in general. This tool will help to quickly bring them in order.

It is also worth noting that colorless henna can activate the growth of hair follicles, restore curls after various chemical damage.

Everyone knows that the lamination procedure is very popular now, though it is not at all cheap. But the use of colorless henna for hair can successfully replace this procedure, while it will be much cheaper, it will even be much more useful.

Its nutrients are able to penetrate deeply into the structure of each hair and significantly thicken it, that is, they help make hair longer, and this is what most women want.

Colorless henna is very often added to various factory-made hair care products, which once again confirms that it is extremely useful. True, such henna should not be applied too often, for twice the week it will be enough to receive benefits, otherwise the hair may dry out very much.

Colored henna

This type of henna also suits almost all hairs, which is extremely convenient, but unlike the previous one, colored henna can be used to get a beautiful color. It is ideal for owners of dark hair. Thanks to this tool the hair will get a beautiful chestnut tint, as well as shine. But on the light curls there is the likelihood of an orange tint, which hardly anyone wants to get.

Colored henna falls on different hairs in different ways; it can only be foreseen by the method of tests. You need to be ready for anything, considering that if the girlfriend's hair after applying concrete henna became beautiful fiery red, this does not at all mean that on the hair a slightly different shade of color will give the same result.

Iranian henna

The peculiarity of this type of henna is that you can experiment with it a lot in search of a suitable color. In the existing powder is recommended to add a variety of additives that can achieve the color that is preferable in a particular case. Thus, the darkest color is achieved by adding natural coffee. Light-red shade is obtained in combination with ginger.

Dark color can be achieved by adding kefir, and to get red you need wine.

This henna for hair is made in Iran. Many young ladies consider it to be the best possible type of henna, which gives the hair a natural color, making it possible to experiment with shades.

Indian henna

Plants are grown for this type of henna in India. With it, you can also experiment, you just need to know what to mix with the available powder to obtain a particular color. True color scheme, which can be obtained with Indian henna, is much smaller than that obtained from Iranian.

Turmeric will help give your hair a golden sheen, and beet juice will make your hair the color of ripe cherry.

Black henna

This coloring composition will help to achieve the color of dark chocolate, it will turn out saturated, brilliant. The secret lies in the fact that the composition of the powder is indigo.

With the help of such henna they dye their hair the color of dark chocolate, it will turn out very rich and beautiful, and the whole thing is that indigo is in the composition of this powder.

Liquid henna

Liquid henna for hair is very similar in consistency to cream, that is, there is no need to dilute it as a powder, so it seems more comfortable to many. However, most women, having tried to use such henna, swore again to never use it.The fact is that its composition is not as natural as the composition of the product in powder form, and the color often falls on the curls unevenly, sometimes it is not the one that is needed.

Henna shades for hair

As noted above, using coloring henna, it is possible to obtain a wide variety of shades. For each shade you need to mix henna powder with various additives. It should be further clarified with what additives for what color will be needed. Start best with Iranian henna. Chestnut rich hue will turn out when using turmeric, and blondes are better to add cinnamon to their composition.

To make hair black, you need to mix the powder with kefir or strong black tea. Basma and coffee are also good. A popular and desirable chocolate shade is obtained by adding ground cloves or cocoa. Brewed hibiscus will allow you to achieve a red hue, for this purpose you can still use red wine.

Copper shades will be very beautiful if you add turmeric, onion peel or chamomile to the powder. And for a golden hue, saffron or lemon juice will be an ideal supplement.

For Indian henna supplements, naturally, there will be others. They should not be confused. Mahaon get a beautiful shade by adding beetroot juice to the powder. True, if you overdo it with this ingredient, you get another, but also a beautiful color burgund.

How to use henna?

Of course, even using harmless henna for hair, you should follow certain rules to get a good result.
The amount of henna used in dyeing may vary from the length of the hair. Mostly goes from two to five bags of powder. In addition to the powder, you will need: a bowl, a towel that would not be a shame to spoil any more, a brush to paint over the strands, protective gloves, a rather greasy cream, cotton pads, a cellophane cap.

Henna, as you know, is first brewed, while there are two main ways to do this. First, you can use hot, but in no case boiling water, and secondly, some acidic liquid, such as lemon juice.

For very short hair, 50 grams of powder will suffice, for medium-length hairs, 100 grams, shoulder-length hairs, 150 grams, and 250 grams in belt, but, of course, these values may vary depending on the density of the hair.

Having decided on the amount of henna, you can brew it in a special container. Coloring should be done with a flat brush, this is the most convenient way. Before starting the procedure, it is better to smear the skin on the hairline with a greasy cream so that it does not stain in the process, since then it will be problematic to wipe it off the skin.

Water temperature for the preparation of paint should be about 80 degrees. As regards its quantity, so much water is needed in order to end up with a slurry that resembles sour cream in consistency, that is, quite thick. Gruel needs to be cooled to about 40 degrees and the procedure can be started. It is important to apply the solution to the hair evenly and try not to skip any areas, so it is advisable to use the help of a friend or other close person, as from the side you can always see better colored and unpainted areas. On the shoulders you need to put an old towel, it will not dirty clothes.

Henna is applied to the hair as quickly as possible, until it is completely cooled, otherwise the result may not be sufficiently saturated, and the cool composition is more difficult to apply.

It is necessary to make a parting, from which gruel and locks already painted with a thin layer will be separated. Thus, you need to handle the entire head.

The time during which you need to keep henna depends directly on how much you want to achieve a saturated hue. Accordingly, the longer it is possible to keep the resulting gruel on the hair, the naturally richer and brighter the color will be. Also the original shade of hair matters. For example, fair-haired ladies will need only ten minutes to make their hair red, but brunettes will have to wait up to forty minutes, etc.

Experts recommend to initially apply henna for hair only on one strand in order to clearly understand how much it needs to be held to obtain the required color.

It is necessary to wash off the henna with warm water and do it very carefully so that the remnants of the coloring agent do not remain on the hair, and after that you can apply conditioner on the hair to make it softer and more pleasant to the touch.

In principle, no special care for hair dyed in this way is required, you can use the usual care products, but here dyeing with ordinary paint should be avoided.

In the video below you will see clear examples of shades that can be obtained with henna and various additives.

Preparing for staining

If you are not afraid of the minuses of using lavsonia and you want to learn how to dye your hair with henna, we advise you to remember some rules. Good preparation for the procedure at home minimizes the negative consequences that a hairdresser could take care of in a beauty salon.

  1. Henna paint is prepared only in glass or porcelain dishes, as the metal enters into a chemical reaction with Lawsonia and spoils the pigment.
  2. Colored henna is diluted with very warm water, but by no means boiling water. Too hot liquid neutralizes the effect of coloring pigments.
  3. Wear gloves when applying henna to hair. Lovesonia can easily paint your hands.
  4. Apply to the forehead and temples a thick layer of rich cream, so as not to color the face with henna. If this does happen, wash your skin as soon as possible with toilet soap and rub it with a tonic several times. Usually taken action is enough.
  5. To separate the hair into partings, use a comb with a long tip. You can also use the usual old pencil. The main thing is that the device for the separation of curls was thin.
  6. In order not to paint clothes with henna, cover your shoulders with an old towel or put on unwanted clothes that you shouldn't throw out.

The process of coloring curls

If henna is used in pure form, the result will be red and reddish colors. The palette expands if you use various natural supplements with henna. For example, coffee or strong black tea will help give the curls darker shades (up to rich chestnut). It's time to learn how to dye your hair with henna right at home.

  1. For short hair, you need to take about 50 g of henna, for an average length of about 150 g, for long hair - about 250 g. These are approximate proportions, take into account the density of your strands too.
  2. Lonsonia is poured hot water into powder to dilute the mixture to a state of sour cream. The paint should not be too liquid, otherwise it simply will not cover the hair. Too thick mixture, in turn, dries too quickly.
  3. The composition is cooled to a comfortable temperature so that the henna does not burn the hair and scalp.
  4. To achieve chestnut color, add 20-70 ml of strong coffee to the mix. The volume of the drink depends on the length and thickness of the curls.

If the natural paint is ready, you can proceed to the procedure. There is nothing complicated about it, you just need to follow the next steps.

  1. Make sure that the mixture for painting is not too cold, put a plate with henna in a bowl with warm water. If you use brewed coffee as a component, add it only hot.
  2. Pick up henna on the brush and apply to the hair on partings.
  3. After applying henna wrap your head with plastic and a towel.
  4. Depending on your hair color, henna dye keeps for a certain time. Fair-haired girls can hold a lawson from 15 to 60 minutes. Dark-haired beauties are advised to keep the mixture on the head for 60 to 120 minutes. The longer the henna dye is on the hair, the more saturated the shades end up.
  5. After the procedure, wash the henna very thoroughly, but without shampoo. Cleanser can only be used during the second washing of the head.

That's all, it remains only to enjoy how beautiful turned red, or if you added coffee, chestnut hair color. If, after the procedure, you are not satisfied with the saturation of the hue, do not worry, just repeat the coloring. To maintain the result, rinse hair with strong coffee infusion after each shampooing. This advice applies to those who have achieved a dark color curls. Girls whose hair after dyeing with henna at home have become bright red or reddish, it is recommended to rinse your head not with coffee, but with a strong broth of onion peel.

Coloring curls with basma and henna

If you want to get the dark color of the curls, which cannot be given by the Lawsonian duet and coffee, we advise you to dye your hair with henna and Basma. It is this tandem that will help give the curls rich dark shades. Examples of colors that give Basma and henna can be viewed on various photos on the Internet. Basma is a natural dye that is made from a plant with a beautiful name “indigo”. How to use two natural powders at the same time? There are two ways of coloring henna and basma curls.

  1. You can dye your hair first with henna, adding coffee to it, and then with basma. This method is preferable, but takes more time. If you are not satisfied with staining after using henna, it will be possible to block the result with a basma.
  2. Sometimes girls mix henna with basma in the same pot and immediately dilute the resulting duo of powders. Here you need to constantly experiment to get exactly the result that you thought.

In order to orient you a little, we will propose approximate proportions by which natural henna paint with basma is prepared.

  • Equal parts of the powders will give a rich dark chestnut color, which is not obtained when using henna and coffee.
  • If you combine one part of henna with basma in the volume of two parts, you can get black.
  • A bronze tint will manifest itself if you mix henna with basma in proportions of 2: 1.

If you decide to dye curls using a separate method, first apply Lawson in tandem with coffee, because you already know how to dye your hair with henna, and then wash off the mixture. After shampooing, apply the coloring composition with basma without additives. Compare the result after drying the strands with the one you chose on the photo you like. If the saturation of the color did not suit you, once again dye your hair with basma.

The secrets of using color additives

To make the palette of colors more varied, love can be enriched not only with coffee and basma. Various natural supplements, which we will tell you, will not harm your hair. Take note of our recommendations and experiment with pleasure.

  1. Copper colored dye obtained after adding a decoction of onion peel. Use white root vegetable husks.
  2. In order to bring burgundy color to the curls, dilute henna powder with hot beet juice.
  3. A pale reddish color is obtained after adding ground turmeric.
  4. A pleasant chocolate shade is obtained if the colored henna is mixed with cocoa powder. Use aromatic powder without various additives.
  5. Cherry color can be obtained if the paint from Lawsonia is diluted with red wine. Make sure that the alcoholic beverage does not overdry the curls.
  6. Golden color can be obtained after adding chamomile decoction to a dry dye from Lawson.
  7. Hair gets a bright red tint if the colored henna is divorced with cranberry broth.

After you get a result similar to the one you found on the photo you like, fix the saturation of the hue with natural rinses. Blond hair like decoctions of chamomile and green tea, and dark - nettle and onion peel. Use infusions after each shampooing. About once a month and a half, adjust the color of the curls, simply repeating the coloring.

We hope that our advice has inspired you to change in the usual look. Do not be afraid to change and dilute the already established image with bright accents. In conclusion, we advise you to watch a video of beautiful Irina, who will tell you about her experience in changing hair color with henna, and also give you a recipe for your own version of natural paint. We wish you not to be afraid of experiments, to be bright and attractive!

  2. Before you dye your hair with henna, wash your hair with shampoo and dry them a little for a more convenient distribution of the coloring mixture.

  5. Start the application from the occipital region, separating the narrow strands of 2-3 cm. Process the entire length at once, this will avoid unpainted spots and reduce the time of the procedure. When performing henna dyeing, do not save the mixture, apply it with a tangible layer. This is the only way to get a uniform color.
  6. For faster and stronger penetration of the pigment, you can wrap the head with polyethylene. When henna dyeing hair with henna, it is better to ignore the ladies with light curls, otherwise you can get an orange or carrot shade instead of a nice red hair.
  7. We leave to act: blondes - from 5 minutes to half an hour, brunettes - from 40 minutes to 2 hours, for brown hair the paste should act 20-30 minutes. This difference is due only to the fact that dark hair absorbs pigment worse, you can even leave henna for the night, washing it off only in the morning. How much to keep the mixture on the head, it is indicated in the instructions, but you should be guided by your preferences.
  8. Rinse the mixture with separate strands of running warm water, it is better to do without shampoo. To facilitate combing after henna hair coloring, you can apply your regular balm.

Before painting with henna, it should be diluted. This is done for 20-30 minutes before staining with hot water or pour at room temperature liquid overnight.

What shades can be achieved with henna

To give different shades, henna hair coloring can be done with the addition of natural ingredients:

  • golden sheen hair will add powder diluted with water with the addition of chamomile, rhubarb, saffron or turmeric spices,
  • copper shade is useful to fix onion decoction, which is used as a conditioner or added directly to the mixture,
  • we clothe the head of hair in chestnut color, adding brewed coffee or tea to the mixture, decoction of cloves,
  • it is possible to be painted in chocolate color, having boiled walnut leaves in water for henna thinning,
  • the shade of bordeaux hair coloring with henna will give in the case of “seasoning” the mixture with red wine, karkade, beet juice or elderberry, you can also brew madder root for the mixture.

To create a bright image, Indian henna is suitable, which has several basic shades. And if natural henna Iranian tones hair in the copper color of one shade, Indian henna can give it other modulations. As an example of a possible color scheme using henna, see the photo below:

In order to dye hair with henna with maximum color efficiency, professionals recommend diluting it with an acidic liquid. How to dye hair with henna in this way: in the same proportions as indicated on the package, mix powder and kefir, dry wine, tea or water with lemon, apple cider vinegar. In order to prevent overdrying of curls, lemon and vinegar are used in reasonable quantities and preferably only for oily hair type. If you dye your hair with henna with the addition of “sourness”, the color is more noble and soft.

Do not forget that for blond hair there should be limitations on the time of henna action, otherwise the color may be too bright. This rule applies to gray hair.

The negative side when painting henna

In general, henna hair dye does not harm the condition of your mane, but you may still not like some nuances:

  • Iranian henna, like Indian henna, is almost never washed out,
  • any tone that Indian henna gives to hair is extremely difficult to block with other paint,
  • certain difficulties arise in the interaction of henna-treated strands with paint: the resulting color may differ greatly from the one indicated on the package,
  • if you started to dye your hair with henna, do not strive to lighten the curls in whole or in part;
  • henna-colored gray hair will look a little brighter and lighter on the general background,
  • repeated or frequent henna dyeing can make the hair stiff, which negatively affects the styling,
  • at the first color with henna it is difficult to predict what color is obtained as a result.

Henna Paints

In order to give the long-awaited shade of red hair, you can use not only henna powder in its pure form. Henna-based paint contributes to a softer, natural coloring, easier to apply to the strands. As in the case when the henna is applied Iranian natural or Indian henna, the finished paint will not be able to drastically change the original color of the hair, it will darken a maximum of tone.

When purchasing a package of natural paint, carefully examine its composition. If henna-based hair dye has aggressive ingredients in its composition, it is better to refrain from buying it, it will definitely not benefit. The quality paint based on henna does not damage the structure of the hairs, unlike chemical compounds in permanent dye mixtures, the pigment is absorbed only in their upper layer. Natural paints based on Indian henna TM “Aasha” and “Lady Henna” are the best known, their tint palette is quite rich, and the components are useful for the mane components.

Reviews of those who have already tried this option, argue that hair dye based on henna gives silkiness and shine to curls, facilitates combing. Scales on the trunk of each hair are closed the same way as when using Indian or Iranian henna. The color is close to natural, the hair dye based on henna shades and makes your tone a little brighter, and the natural shade is always suitable for the face and looks harmonious.

Before you carry out hair dyeing with henna or paint based on it, try to do some preparation. When henna is used, the benefits will be more noticeable after shearing damaged tips. They are already too dry, and staining with henna will deprive them of the last moisture. Or you can take a different path: 2-3 days before dyeing your hair with henna, feed it with a mask.

By the way, henna hair coloring does not always give an instant result: it can take up to three days to fully develop color! So do not immediately complain that the Indian henna praised badly took, wait a while, and its properties will be revealed. The same goes for henna Iranian natural.

Now you know how to dye your hair with henna so that no unpleasant surprises arise. Henna hair dyeing is a fairly easy way to refresh your image and improve your hair.

Incredibly rich and deep copper color from the first coloring. Henna, which not only gives a luxurious color, but also takes care of the hair

With this henna, we all came together for a very long time. The first time I tried it five years ago, and from that time I periodically buy again and again.

Why am I not painting only her? I think if you, like me, are an avid henna lover, then you constantly want to try and discover all new types of this wonderful herb. Oh yes, you sit down on it.

Therefore, you try different things and you return to the best.

And now I will tell you what to expect from her and how to squeeze maximum color out of this weed.

Some information from the manufacturer

Henna natural Indian - does not contain chemical dyes. Regular use promotes hair growth, protecting them from fragility and preventing the appearance of split ends. Prevents hair loss and dandruff. Beneficial effect on the condition of the scalp, has a calming and cooling effect. With constant use, the hair becomes soft and shiny.

Indian Henna - natural dye, which is obtained from the leaves of a tropical plant. Therefore, its effect on the hair is not only harmless, but, conversely, beneficial. Not without reason, in ancient Egypt and in the Ancient East, women widely used henna, knowing about its useful qualities. And the price of a bag of Indian henna in the store is much lower than the price of any chemical paint.

Unlike conventional (Iranian) henna, Indian has a large palette of shades.
It also strengthens and heals the hair.
Another plus of henna before the paint is that the paint paints all those modulations of flowers that we naturally have on the hair (and their incredible amount)! She makes all the hair of the same color - black, brown, red, red. This erases all the nuances of color and halftones. Henna, on the other hand, does not overlap the versatility of color, but lies on top of it and enhances its brightness.
And still hair from henna becomes more voluminous and dense.

I prefer it Indian henna, because it is more long-playing, in my opinion, precisely in terms of shades.

Indian henna gives precisely deep saturated color and dyes from the first time even dark hair perfectly. So, if you want to try henna, give preference to saturated and more red colors (when layering, the color goes into deep dark red), then you should definitely use Indian henna for dyeing.

Product Overview:

Packaging

In this case, on my henna there was a little sticker with at least some information, but this is not always the case. It all depends on where to buy.

The fact that the bag has to be cut, I think, it has already become clear to everyone. Usually, if you take henna packaging, it contains one or two sachets, inside of which there is another cellophane, but there is nothing like that here. Cutting this bag inside you find the powder.

Colour

Usually henne has green notes in terms of color, but this one is quieter with a clear brown tint. Usually, henna looks brown, whose expiration date is about to end (or if it has impurities of other herbs), but as long as I didn’t buy it, it always has that color even if it was recently released. So I think this is a feature of this henna. Although it seems to me that there is at least another amla mixed in here.

The color is so soft marsh, correct khaki, let's say.

Consistency

Smell

The smell is quite typical, herbal. It smells like henna, which, in principle, is not at all surprising.

Impressions of the application

Application

Dissolve henna with hot water in a bowl, let it stand for about 1–1.5 hours. Apply to hair and leave for at least 3 hours to achieve the best therapeutic effect.

The longer you do not wash away, the richer the shade is. Ideally, leave overnight.

  • More often I pour henna just boiling water and let it brew and cool immediately for 15-20 minutes, this is quite enough for her to start giving pigment.
  • Henna mixes well and becomes brown..

The manufacturer gives a pretty good instructions on coloring, which I can not leave without their comments.

Stages of hair coloring

Dissolve henna with boiling water to a thick cream. In henna should not remain lumps. If you want to achieve deep chestnut shades on dark hair, add a tablespoon of instant coffee to henna. And if you are attracted to purple tones, dissolve henna not in water, but in beet juice.

About coffee. It really works, but the shade is not straight chestnut, but much darker than the usual henna, BUT he keeps his hair only before the first washing of the head.

Experiments with beet juice I did not succeed, not a hint of purple or some more pronounced redness than Indian henna itself gives. So this advice, which quite often gives even Google when you ask him how to dye his hair red, is completely mythical and does not give the proper result. So I can not recommend it. Although if you really want, pervert, why not.

Cover your shoulders with an old towel. It is almost impossible to remove henna stains from clothes, so it is best to be dressed in something old during the staining procedure. Apply to the forehead on the hairline cream, which will prevent skin staining.

I simply advise to be painted in black. With black henna washes off, with everything else not.

Paint should be applied to dry clean hair. Coloring is best to start from the neck. The back of the head has the lowest temperature, so the hair on the back of the head will stain longer. Then apply the paint on the parietal and temporal parts of the head, and finally paint the hair over the entire length. Make sure that henna does not fall on the skin. If this happens, remove it immediately with damp cotton wool.

There is a lot of controversy about what kind of hair to dye. Dry, I do not recommend, to be honest (if it is not about tinting the roots exclusively), because so, the mixture consumption increases dramatically at least twice. For dyeing length, the composition is better to apply to freshly washed and slightly dried hair.

After you have dyed all the hair, massage it so that the henna lies evenly. If you have long hair, pin them up with hairpins. Cover the head with a plastic wrap, putting a cotton braid on the forehead along the hairline, and wrap a towel over the top.

It’s quite good to massage, but it’s very difficult to do when the hair is all in henna. Sometimes even combing them with a comb fails, which is already there. In my opinion, it is better to just walk freely with henna, which will be on the palms, through the hair. So to say, the final touch. So it will be possible to capture even those places that could accidentally be missed. This is especially true if no one helps you with staining.

How long should henna be kept? It depends on the initial hair color, their porosity and on the tone you want to receive. In this case, it is best to carry out a test on one strand before dyeing. This will allow you to accurately determine how long henna should remain on the hair. But if you have neither the time nor the desire to do this, know that on average the time of dyeing dark hair is 1-1.5 hours, and lighter and completely lighter and even less.

You can speed up the coloring process with a hair dryer.

Also, as an option. But to heat the henna with a hair dryer is a very dubious pleasure.

After the dyeing time has elapsed, rinse the hair well. This procedure is not easy and quite energy intensive. Hair should be washed until the water flowing from it is completely clean.

It should be washed off without shampoo, and it is also good to rinse the hairs with a little water, acidified with vinegar or lemon, in order to finish the dyeing procedure, so that the pigment is fixed in the hair.

How do I apply henna when dyeing roots

  1. I apply henna on dry dirty hair before washing my hair
  2. For the length most often apply oil
  3. I wrap my hair and put on a shower cap
  4. I warm the top with a towel
  5. I keep an hour and a half
  6. Wash off

Henna is washed off well. It is clear that it is somewhat more difficult to wash it off from the roots than with full dyeing, as the mixture flows through the hair and gets stuck in it, so you have to tinker a little longer. But in general, wash it off easily. No lumps were formed when mixed, so there is nothing left in the hair after rinsing and nothing needs to be shaken out.

Properties:

  • Good painting ability

Show photos before after

I can call this henna quite delicate, because it does not have an obvious drying effect, either on the roots or on the length. And if you brew with oils or with milk, then you should not worry at all, even if you have very dry hair.

This property can also be attributed to the standard. Roots after henna become noticeably stronger and when combing, less hair is removed from the comb.

One-time action, but still. Immediately after dyeing the roots, their hair is lifted and on long hair, which is longer, the more slick it becomes, this is a pretty good feature. Although it does not persist permanently.

  • Brightness without dullness

Henna is not very high-quality producers at the roots can eventually leach out and dim, but here nothing like this happens. Color after a time after dyeing, remains as deep and saturated as after washing off the mixture from the hair.

When I was not lazy and painted the roots once a couple of weeks, rather than once a month, some men in my environment were amazed at how bright they grow. I really laughed when I was told about this. But I think that says a lot. Henna looks very natural and saturated, so if you need a rather natural and strong effect, you should definitely pay attention to it.

In principle, another standard property of henna. Hair dyed with it becomes noticeably denser and, over time, becomes significantly thicker than they themselves.

I give Sna 5 stars out of 5because the product quality.

Who will I recommend? Of course, to all lovers of henna and for the most part seekers of deep copper color, to you, unequivocally, here.

Will I buy again? I buy it all the time and I think no one will be surprised when I say that, of course, I will buy it again.
