Hairdresser improves the appearance of the client and tries to do everything to make the client happy and beautiful. Exactly as the hairdresser tries to tidy up the appearance of the client, he should try to maintain his appearance.

As you know, when meeting people pay attention to the appearance and in appearance draw conclusions about the person. The same situation with the master of hairdressing. The client looks at the master and he has an idea of a person. The profession of a hairdresser obliges a specialist not only to provide high-quality services, but also to look great.

Appearance of a hairdresser - This is a business card beauty salon. Some clients believe that the appearance of the working staff is closely related to the quality of service in the beauty salon. Of course, if the master is sloppy and neglected, it can be assumed that the hairdresser also serves carelessly. All this has a negative impact on the reputation of the barber.

The main task of the hairdresser - not only to demonstrate their professionalism, but also to leave a pleasant impression on the client. You should carefully pick up clothes, dress with taste, going to work to leave a pleasant impression on customers. It is unlikely that the client entrust his appearance to a disheveled casually dressed master. When we talk about the appearance of a hairdresser, we assume literally everything: clothes, shoes, hair, jewelry, makeup.

How the master should look from an aesthetic point of view
In some beauty salons, workers wear the same uniform, which creates an excellent business environment in the salon. Workwear is a kind of part of the interior of a beauty salon. Clothing wizard should not be too bright. All shades in the clothing of workers should be calm and neutral. This may be a bathrobe or a sundress.

By the way, the presence of the form does not indicate the presence of culture in the beauty salon. Many masters complement their image with ornaments that sometimes look too pompous. Therefore, in this case it is very important to have a sense of proportion. In the clothes of a hairdresser, everything should be harmonious. Without a doubt, the hairdresser should have a neat manicure and beautifully laid hair.

For a hairdresser, a hairstyle with loose hair is not advisable, as this will interfere with the work process. While working, you should monitor your posture. You should not walk with your head down. The client should enjoy how you do your job. Master movements should be neat. and at the same time fast. It should not be waving hands during a conversation with a client.
If you come to work in a depressed mood, you should not squeeze a smile out of yourself, simply treats every client with a good attitude. Be friendly with customers, and they will appreciate it.

There are no trifles in the work of the hairdresser; every step of the master is assessed by the client, sometimes this assessment is so strict that not every master is able to meet great demands. Every master has something to strive for, therefore the improvement of his image and behavior is a hot topic for all hairdressers.

Hair coloring in a hairdressing salon - how to order, make and not be disappointed? Part 1

How to get out of the salon happy, making the coloring?

We will proceed from the assumption that you have never done coloring in your life. Many clients of our salon periodically feel like newbies in discussing the coloring of their hair, even having dyed it many times before.

... I have a client in my chair, who cuts her hair and makes me color a long time ago. I know her character, habits, style of dress, requirements for the image of work. She absolutely trusts me and in general is a wonderful little man.

I never do any new work for a client without first explaining what I will do and how much it will change the structure of the hair. And so it seemed to me an unexpected question of this girl.

- Tell me, does the coloring actually kill the hair, make it lifeless, brittle and dry?

- Where did such thoughts come from?

- Yes, you know, there are a lot of “well-wishers” at work ... They brought a magazine, they say, now, read it, you dye your hair all the time, then you walk like this, sometimes it is ... So look what they write about what happens to hair during dyeing.

- And what happens?

- Well, the color fades, it is washed out, the ends are split, the hair itself looks like straw and looks, in the end it’s necessary to cut them off altogether.

- Do you have such feelings?

- Yes, it seems not, I have the same shampoo, and hair care is selected, it seems to shine so far, the color is good, just the roots grow ... (Laughs)

- And why did you think that the magazine knows better what kind of hair you have?

- You know, they write so much about it that you start to believe.

Immediately make a reservation that truly respected publications for women will never allow themselves to write such words. This is the lot of non-professionals. But journalists who do not know too much about the topic want to make their own contribution and shape the opinion of readers based on their own experience.

Therefore, not everything and not always can be trusted. On the pages of this book, I have repeatedly asked you, dear readers, to think independently more often. Information reliable enough to think about, to paint all the same hair, or not.

Judge for yourself. What is the color in general, and what is it like? For simplicity, you can divide the color into two types - color, covering the hair only outside, and color, giving color, penetrating into the hair.

The first type of coloring - vegetable dyes and tint. But these types of color make it impossible to get predictable colors and are washed away much faster than the colors of the second type.

Coloring, giving the hair color from the inside. How does dye get into hair? Be sure to use hydrogen peroxide, no matter how it was called by the paint manufacturers. Of course, branded oxidizers (formulations based on hydrogen peroxide), or oxidants, or oxidative emulsions are called differently. But there are for one purpose - when applied to the hair, they penetrate under the teal layer of hair, wash out the hair's own coloring pigment. And the dye with which the oxidizer is mixed penetrates the hair. This process is called a redox reaction.

Did you notice? Restorative, too, not only destroying pigment. Why is restorative? Because the washed out pigment (of the wrong color, therefore, we dye the hair) is replaced with artificial pigment during the dyeing process, and the hair is again filled with dye molecules. Only not your natural, but artificial.

Why is the paint washed out? Often from using the wrong percentage of oxidizer. There are oxidizing agents in which the percentage of hydrogen peroxide is 12. This is the most powerful percentage, but one should not be afraid of using it, because in modern dyes only stable oxidizers are used, if written - 12% means no more.

Lower interest - 9%, 6%, 3%, 1.9%. As you can see, a wide variety of oxidants of various strengths, from microscopic doses - 1.9% (this is less than medical hydrogen peroxide sold in any pharmacy in vials for disinfection), up to 9% is also quite a high percentage.

Why do you need so many different emulsions? For different coloring effects. The smallest percentages are used to tint the hair without changing its structure. With the help of toning emulsions, called “activating”, the dye starts the redox reaction directly on the surface of the hair, and changes its shade, at the same time leveling the surface of the hair. Therefore, after light toning, it is not only beautiful in color, but also shiny. This color is least subject to leaching.

3% emulsion can already slightly lighten the hair, that is, the dye is already included in the structure of the hair. This is also a stable color, but without a significant change in the level of lightness or darkness, so to speak, hair. This means that the brunette does not become blonde. But on the contrary - please, with the help of 3% oxidizer blonde can become darker, as far as she wants.

6% - this emulsion can significantly change and lighten the hair color. It allows the paint to penetrate deep into the hair, stably stains it. But lightness (in professional language - “depth” of hair tone) does not change very much. You can lighten the tone for 2, maximum 3. This means that a brown-haired woman can become medium blond. No more.

9% - deep penetration of the dye into the hair. This emulsion allows you to vary the tone as you like. She can do almost anything. Basically, the most difficult hair color changes occur with its help, even the coloring of gray hair.

12% emulsion - the strongest of all. She can make a brunette blonde (even without a yellow shade), but she also most strongly washes out her own coloring pigment for your hair. What happens to a hair if it is simply brightened?

When lightening, “own dye” comes out of the hair without being replaced by anything. This is the case when bleaching with powdered powders with 9% and 12% emulsion. Hair becomes "transparent", "colorless." What a mess, you say, after reading these lines. In fact, this is highlighting, i.e. removing the coloring pigment called "melanin", from which the term "highlighting". And not at all from the word "chalk", as many think.

And there is nothing terrible. If the percentage of the emulsion is used correctly, even a completely gray woman can dye her hair, but they really do not like to be painted.

Why am I writing all this? You are not professionals, you have the right to ask this question. So that you can control the process of your colorings in the salon and understand what you are going to put on your hair.

For example, if you have blond hair without gray hair, and you see that the master mixes 6% emulsion with the color “chocolate” to dye your hair, you can safely fix the master, quite a toning percentage - 3%.

Or if your hair is repeatedly dyed, and just “faded” to an incomprehensible shade, and you want to protonate it well - a percentage of 1.9 will be enough. Moreover, the paint will last longer, the hair will look better and thicker.

And if you constantly "shed" the same shade that the master applies with 6% oxidizer to the regrown roots and the entire length of hair - keep in mind, along the length of the hair, you also need not to dye, but only to tint with the same color. And then the paint pans (of the same color) should be two. In one - a dye for roots with 6% emulsion, in the other - the same dye, but for faded hair with an emulsion of 1.9%.

Keep in mind that I write general rules for most types of paints, but different companies also produce additional percentages of oxidizers, they have their own rules. For example, there are 2%, 4% - not the fact that only the above oxidants have the right to exist. And it’s also not a fact that the firm whose dye works by your master has a cream-color designed for toning. Perhaps not. Then you will be painted differently.

I described the main emulsions to you. According to their characteristics, you can already navigate what is happening with your color.

Flush out - too much oxidizer percentage is used in length. Collapsing at the ends - the same reason. But this is not a reason to give instructions to the master. If the master works in this way, he is unlikely to start mixing the paint otherwise. It is better to change the master, if you understand what is the matter now.

The most common customer complaints about colorings:

- Sedin stained badly at the roots of the hair. The reason - not a high percentage of oxidizer, as well as an insufficient amount of time of exposure of the paint.

“The color that was bright after dyeing quickly became dull, and the pillow case on the pillow and hair towel in the bathroom, on the contrary, was painted with bright stripes of the color of your color. The reason is an insufficiently stable dye pigment, an incorrectly chosen oxidant (too high a percentage), an incomplete dyeing process (the coloring is usually completed by washing with a special shampoo and rinsing or a mask-balm specially after dyeing).

- After coloring in dark chocolate, dark and ashy, even black color hair quickly get a reddish shade. The reason - the wrong tone of the dye, a high percentage of oxidant, which "loosens" the hair structure every time there is a coloring. You need to choose a tone for coloring closer to natural, or add a mix-tone to the dye to neutralize the golden hue. Mix-tone is a pure bright color of the cream of paint, is added in small portions to enhance or weaken the tone of the basic paint that you choose. For example, if you add a red mix tone to a red color, it will become a fiery red, and if it is an ashy red, it will turn brown.

“I don’t like a yellow tint when I dye my hair blond, but it still manifests itself.” The reason is the wrong tone of the dye and / or oxidizer. Perhaps the original, own hair color is so dark that it simply cannot be brightened to the desired degree. In this case, it is better to first lighten all the hair with a blond powder to a completely light blond, and then tint the hair to the desired shade with a small percentage of oxidant - then the “blond” will not be yellow, and the shade will last for a long time, until the next color.

Interior selection

Currently, most salons provide quality service. Before you dye your hair in the salon, you need to choose the necessary institution.

Beauty saloon

When choosing a salon for painting the scalp, it is necessary to consider the following nuances:

Cozy atmosphere

When choosing a beauty salon, a girl should pay attention to the atmosphere reigning in her - the environment and the quality of the service provided. Such an institution should have a weakly flavored air, have diffused and not too bright lighting. Also in this institution should play nice music. After visiting such a salon, the woman has pleasant feelings and makes a good impression about this place.

The cozy atmosphere of the cabin

Warm welcome

Professional stylists should be punctual and kind to their clients. According to the girls, smiles, attention signs, pleasant dialogue form the initial idea of the salon.

Also, the hairdresser should be close to home or be accessible to the car location. After all, if you cannot park a car closer than 500 m near such an institution, the beauty salon loses its customers.

The quality of service in the cabin is determined, among other things, in the attitude of the staff towards the customer

In addition, the painting of the scalp in the salon should take place at a convenient time for girls - according to a flexible schedule.

Workplace hairdresser perfect cleanliness

Girls do not like those beauty salons, in which stylists do not wash their hands before painting hair - they use wet wipes. In this situation, hairdressers transfer germs from one woman to another!

Each stylist must maintain the floor, tools and towels in a sterile condition. In some salons, stylists put girls on sheets, the purity of which is questionable. In addition, stylists should use disposable gloves, which is also a guarantee of their hygiene.

Salon must be clean

When choosing a beauty salon, you also need to carefully review the cost of services provided by this institution.

Naturally, hair painting in a good hairdressing salon will cost more, but at the same time stylists satisfy all the requirements of the client.

High quality service costs more

Individual approach

In addition to the necessary possession of technical devices, the stylist is able to keep up the conversation with the client. In addition, the hairdresser should know the news that relates to hair painting and other works with them. In such a situation, the stylist must be a professional consultant.

The stylist must have an individual approach to each client.

Color of coloring: black, blond, silver

Properly chosen paint changes color and transforms the appearance of a woman: her hair becomes smooth and shiny.

The cost of the procedure in the beauty salon depends on many factors.

Independently it is difficult to determine the condition of the hair, to make a choice of paint or to lighten the hair. In this situation, the girls use the services of professional masters of a beauty salon.

What to choose: specialized paint or henna?

When changing the hair color of the head of the girl, the stylists use such means:

professional paints. With the help of such tools, stylists give women a long-lasting color and evenly cover the strands for a long time - up to 4 months. At the same time, such paints damage the bulbs and destroy the hair structure.

To prevent damage to hair, stylists conduct preliminary procedures - nourish or moisturize the scalp, reducing the negative impact of professional paints,

  • temporary paints - an acceptable option for painting the scalp. Light tonic or dye lotions slightly change color and do not destroy the hair structure.
  • Professional hair coloring will help you completely change your look.

Delicate painting of the scalp with the help of gentle means is considered a good option for those girls who do not want to drastically change their appearance.

This hair coloring has a low cost. At the same time, stylists spend a similar process on a regular basis, because tonic coloring agents are quickly washed out. As a result, each girl herself has the right to make the right choice: what and where to paint. In this situation, stylists are advised not to risk their appearance and health - not to engage in self-dyeing hair, and come to the beauty salon and relax.
